Unit Acidizing & Neutralization
Once all the HF material is removed froman alkylation unit, the unit still requires thorough chemical cleaning before personnel can perform mechanical activity. GEM Mobile Treatment Services utilizes an acidizing process to treat residual flouride scale within the unit, then neutralizes all the remaining piping, exchangers, vessels, etc. to ensure the unit is safe for any required work. Any acidizing/chemical cleaning of an HF alkylation unit will result in residual wash water.
