Mack McBurney is Evergreen’s South Regional Vice President and is responsible for business development, strategic planning, and competitive positioning to help grow new markets within the region.

Mack has 20 years of industrial construction experience and 30 years in leading business and finance. He began his career in finance as an analyst for a construction company in the Houston area and then transitioned to the oil and gas industry as a commercial manager for a local company where he was able to grow his knowledge of the petrochemical industry. Mack then began working for the petrochemical and refining plants as a project controller and project manager. Prior to Evergreen, he held a variety of leadership roles in executive management, finance and operations. Mack completed his MBA at the University of Houston Clear Lake campus and has a master’s Certificate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute. Mack is a veteran of the US Air Force working as an ICBM technician and air traffic controller.

Mack has been married to his wife, Cherrie, for 13 years and they have 5 grown kids and 6 grandkids. He is on the board of directors for Anchor Point in League City, TX, and spends his free time as a private pilot and enjoying the great outdoors.
