WORKING AT HEIGHTS

Proper inspection and use of fall protection equipment is required whenever an employee is in a situation that falls under ENAIS fall protection program guidelines.

PERMIT TO WORK

When a Permit To Work is required it must be confirmed, validated, and followed to the letter.

ENERGY ISOLATION

Lockout / Tagout procedures must always be followed completely. Never attempt to use a machine that has a Lockout / Tagout tag in place.

CONFINED SPACE

Always follow the Confined Space requirements of the work permit. Always confirm with the attendant that it is safe to enter.

WORKING UNDER SUSPENDED LOADS

Never enter a controlled area with suspended load without authorization. Always follow the instructions of the flagman or person in charge of the lift. Never put yourself in a possible crush point.

DISABLING SAFETY DEVICES

Safety devices save lives. Never remove, adjust, or modify a safety device without proper approval and authorization.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL

Illegal drug and alcohol use is strictly prohibited. Use of prescribed medication must be reported to your supervisor. Disciplinary action will be consistently enforced by the company and is grounds for immediate termination.

STOP WORK AUTHORITY

All employees are responsible to initiate a stop work intervention when warranted. Once Stop Work Authority has been voiced, no work will resume until all issues and concerns have been adequately addressed.
